Possible to beat UNI & ISU again? Pleeeze!!
Where is PSU?
BentNotBroken - February 8, 2012
PSU is not attending
therealCatnuts - February 8, 2012
Possible, but not likely.
Penn State is elsewhere.

I like those regional seeds and how they line up for the Hawks.
I guess I wasn’t thinking that the 3-6 seeds would have to wrestle extra matches, but that makes sense now. Really has to hurt their chances.
Any idea how seeding and matchups are determined after the regionals? Is the bracket set up or does it reset according to who makes it out of each regional?
therealCatnuts - February 8, 2012
They haven't said anything.
My assumption is that they’ll seed it 1-4 based on the 4 teams that are left, with 1v4 in one semi and 2v3 in the other semi.
RossWB - February 8, 2012
Well that seeding worked out fantastically for us didnt it?
We probably wont have to face a team weve already beaten, so new challenges for all!
justsomehawkeyefan - February 8, 2012
More OSUs?
How many of those do we need to wrestle in one year?

Damn you injuries!!!!
If VT wins we could have been going up against one Mr. Jesse Dong at 157. But he was injured and is missing the entire season – word has it he is going to get a medical redshirt so we can enjoy the Donger next season. You can never have enough of the Donger.
That 7 minutes of open thread comments might have set some sort of new record.
The Bacon Explosion - February 9, 2012
We have been continually thwarted in our efforts to battle the Donger.
I am quite vexed by this situation.
RossWB - February 9, 2012
Will there be any
television coverage?
encopresis - February 9, 2012
Not entirely clear.
I don’t think there will be anything on TV. I think there might be some online streams — hopefully free ones.
RossWB - February 9, 2012
Will Ironside be able to broadcast on 800 if its in Ames?
kythom - February 9, 2012
It seems like he calls a lot of the away meets, Big Tens, Nationals, etc
But the reception is usually so bad I don’t listen
kythom - February 9, 2012
Yep
He and Grace will be calling the action this weekend. If you get AM 800 KXIC, they’ll be on there; otherwise, it will be available on Hawkeye All Access.
RossWB - February 9, 2012
The Iowa release about this weekend doesn't mention anything about video coverage.
So… stay tuned, I guess.
Er, no pun intended.
