We're in the home stretch now, boys and girls. Just six more regular season games to go this season for Iowa and while Iowa may or may not have legitimate postseason aspirations, there's one goal that's well within their reach: a winning record. It's been five years since Iowa last ended the year with a record above .500 (17-14 in 2006-07), but they're 13-12 now with, at minimum, seven games remaining (six regular season games plus one game in the Big Ten Tournament). Post a winning record in those seven games and Iowa ends 2011-12 on the right side of .500. Every game left is winnable (the two most difficult remaining foes, Indiana and Wisconsin, both visit CHA), but considering that this is still the same team that lost to Clemson, Campbell, and Nebraska (all in CHA, no less), no win is assured. A win tonight would be an excellent start on the road towards finishing with a winning mark; go ahead and read my Q&A with Black Shoe Diaries from earlier today to find out a little bit more about this year's PSU team.

It’s on ESPNU, but they’re not streaming it on ESPN3. That’s their usual policy for ESPNU games, for reasons that escape me. I guess they really like driving people to pirated streams (I can mention these without getting banned, right? I’m not gonna post a link)

It makes Thursday night games rough. I have to play dvr tricks, and even then I’m going to have to skip something new to watch the game. Plus the quality is higher on espn3 via the xbox than espnu in standard def.

Yup, I was helping my roommate with calculus but was getting distracted
as he hit 3 after 3. My favorite Iowa player ever. Obviously I am younger so there is a smaller selection but the fact that he stayed for 4 years, plays hard, is a leader, and a bonus is he makes his god damn free throws! I am a swimmer and the other day a couple of us went to the Rec Center and I made 28 of 30 free throws! It’s so damn simple.(swimmers aren’t supposed to be capable of any other sports)

I really enjoyed ME2 but didn’t have the time to dedicate myself entirely to the story. Getting the option to just shoot my way thru the game while experiencing the entire story would be nice.

Anyway, yeah, the shooter/adventure mode is supposed to take a “default” path through the story (i.e. not super paragon or super renegade) and should cover the basics of the story.
I’m expecting a minimum of about 100 hours to disappear to this game alone. :D

There are actually a bunch of great ones from NY state.
Sadly, most wines from the Finger Lakes region seldom see the light of day outside of the NE USA. For a really delicious, semi-dry German riesling full of major apple and apricot flavor but without the cloying sweetness of a late-harvest, I would recommend Dr. Loosen at around $12. It’s affordable and lovely.

The one exception I’ve found (for me, at least) is Riesling. Maybe it’s just because it’s not my grape or something, but I have never really liked any of the mid-level ones at all, but when I have had a very nice German one on a few occasions, I’ve loved it.
